Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum is seeking a Director of Informatics to lead a
major effort to consolidate, expand, and enable the Museum’s digital
assets, including databases as well as tens of terabytes of digital images,
videos, audio files and documents. The Director will
oversee the architecture, development, testing, and implementation of a
robust infrastructure for managing and sharing digital information at
Bishop Museum in support of collections, research, data sharing and public
outreach, such that the resulting infrastructure will improve efficiency
and effectiveness of future data creation and maintenance into perpetuity.
