Dear HENTF members,

The current trajectory of Tropical Storm Bret is indicating that it will NOT IMPACT Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands (see image below). Nevertheless, HENTF urges the importance of being prepared for when - not if - the next storm hits. Being prepared for future events can prevent damage and save lives.  HENTF has developed resources and information for cultural institutions and arts organizations to stay equipped for when natural disasters hit. Please provide the following resources to your members and constituents in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands to:


  *   Monitor future threats via the National Hurricane Center and Central Pacific Hurricane Center<https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at3+shtml/144622.shtml?gm_track#contents>, and find preparedness information from their respective state emergency management offices:
