[Nhcoll-l] Re-attaching glass to insect drawers

Dear all,

In our dry entomology collection, we have a few old wooden drawers where
the original puttee securing the glass into place (like in old windows)
cracked and detached. Would silicone be a good option for re-attaching that
glass (after cleaning off puttee remains of course!) or are the other ideas
out there?

Thank you,

Gali
