In addition, you should always check the list of suspended
countries. For Appendix I species, this means you can't get a
valid import or export permit from these countries. For Appendix
II species, you can't get a valid export permit. And the USFWS is
not going to issue you an export permit for an Appendix I species
going to these countries. <br>

And, of course, to the extent that they have an registered
scientific institutions, their COSE certificates would be invalid.

<br>
For the countries currently on the list, only three are suspended
for all commercial trade. The others are limited to particular
species. There are occasions when all trade is suspended.<br>
