      We are working on comments to the Office of Laboratory Animal

      Welfare of the National Institutes of Health regarding the AVMA

      Euthanasia Guidelines. <br>

      <br>

      We are trying to do a thorough, out-of-the-ballpark discussion on

      the allegation by the AVMA that "alternatives" such as isoflurane

      are available. <br>

      <br>

      Yes, I've found that isoflurane (halogenated ether) is sold in

      most countries, but the question is can you get it?<br>

      <br>

      Surely someone out there has tried and failed? Or tried and succeded?<br>

      <br>

      Please help us to help you - let me know if you've tried obtaining

      isoflurane in other countries and if so, what was the result? And

      in what country, please.<br>

      <br>

      And if you haven't tried, would you please at least write to your

      in-country collaborators to ask them if they are able to obtain

      isoflurane and let me know what they say?<br>
