<DIV><STRONG><FONT size=2 face=Arial>I know that there are various people
researching methods for rehydration and some are tweaking the existing
tehcnology to obtain regular and as near to perfect results as possible. I
tend to stick with 3-5% Decon-90 (lab. glassware washing up fluid), warmed to
about 30 deg. C for mollusc bodies and it has worked well. You will lose
DNA by rehydrating, be warned, so you may wish to keep the odd dried-out
specimen aside for that purpose.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT size=2 face=Arial>You will prob. get some more updated
versions of older techniques so some experimentation may be in order.
Hopefully you will publish the result.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
