<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>We currently have several greasy cetacean skeletons and are looking into the feasibility of setting up a hot vapour degreasing unit at our workshop in British Columbia. We have used this method with a proprietary solvent several times in the past for cleaning whale skeletons and have found it to be the most effective method we know of to completely clean these oily skeletons without compromising the bone. </div>
<div><br></div><div>I am curious to know whether any of you on the list have experience with setting up and using these systems or currently have a system set up that is in use for this purpose. This machinery is quite costly to set up and intensive to run, so ideally, it would be great to somehow collaborate with others who may have similar cetacean skeleton cleaning challenges.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Michi </div>
