lang="EN-US">I would like to announce two training courses
that will ake place at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin
in late November (see attached files).

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span
lang="EN-US">The first one "Access and Benefit Sharing and
other legal aspects of shipping preserved animals and
tissues" (25 November 2014, all day) is an update on the
workshop Dirk Neumann and I offered at the SPNHC conference
this summer. For those who were unable to attend in
Cardiff, this would be an opportunity to brush up their
knowledge on the international shipping of specimens.

lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span
lang="EN-US">The second one, "Basic Collection Techniques"
(November 26-28, 2014) is a training geared towards new
staff in collections wishing to obtain basic knowledge on
the work with natural history collections or towards more
experienced staff who wish to update their knowledge. A wide
variety of topics including conservation issues, dry and wet
collections and documentation is covered.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span
lang="EN-US">Participation in these courses is free.
