<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">If you wish to replace these with a better product, you may want to consider the Buna-N 55 -Duro white gasket. I have used these for 25 years in two different collections with great success. They are not cheap
but they do not melt, crack, or otherwise fail for a long time. We replace them only when there is some evidence of compression. <br>

We have several fluid preserved specimens in French “Le Parfait Jars”, and we have found that over time the gaskets (from Le Parfait) tend to turn soft and “melt.”
