My friend and colleague Caroline Chaboo (a fellow Jayhawk, at KU) is
holding a public competition to name a new beetle species from Peru
- the competition is open now, and open to everyone, for a chance at
taxonomic immortality (as it were). <b>This is a non-profit event,
to raise public awareness</b>. This is NOT a name auction, for
those among you who have concerns about the latter practice. She
asks for people to pass the link along as widely as possible, to
