<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small;color:rgb(0,0,0)">In the book, the 1927 cabinet of curiosities is part of an exhibit about the history of museums. <br><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small;color:rgb(0,0,0)">"Wonderstruck" is very interesting. It was written for young people and tells two alternating stories, one in text and one in graphics, that converge at the end of the book. It is well worth reading, both for what it says about museums in our society, and what it says about deaf culture. Although it is 460 pages long, you can read it in about an hour. Cabinet of Curiosities exhibit (the exhibit is fictionally set in the Museum of Natural History in 1927) and we are searching for elements to dress into our set. We are looking for all sorts of things: bones, fossils, artifacts, taxidermy, and all sorts of
oddities. We are trying to source (and rent or buy) these materials from either a small museum or a private collector, so I thought I would reach out to you and see if you might have any ideas or suggestions...<u></u><u></u></span></p>
