<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">I wanted to give you a heads up about a recent problem we experienced (and may still be dealing with) after purchasing some Bioquip wet collection cabinets. I ordered
8 and should have run each of them through our walk-in freezer. But they arrived when I wasn’t here and were brought into the collection area. After many weeks we found evidence of powder-post beetles in the drawer bottoms in at least one of them. These drawers
have since been frozen and the two adult beetles found among them are in the genus
<i>Lyctus, </i>and look most like <i>Lyctus</i> <i>brunneus </i>or <i>Lyctus cavicollis</i>. Bioquip has been made aware of the problem and are responding, but in case you have plans to expand your collection storage in the near future it is worth freezing
anything wooden coming in from their facilities.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
