<p class="MsoNormal">We recently received a collection of larval fishes held in ExCell Plus. Nobody in our collection is familiar with this fixative and we&#8217;d rather not maintain these specimens in ExCell Plus long-term. We&#8217;d prefer to transfer them into the
 same buffered 10% formalin solution we keep the rest of our larval fishes for maintenance reasons. Here is a link to information about ExCell Plus (http://www.americanmastertech.com/excell_plus.htm). &nbsp;It is billed as an alternative to 10% formalin and the
 information here implies that specimens can be transferred to 10% formalin without a stepping process. Does anyone have experience with this fixative and/or have suggestions about transferring directly or stepping these into 10% formalin.<o:p></o:p></p>
