These hold our fluid-preserved type specimens and we are happy with their performance. The jars were not inexpensive, and were considered a worthwhile investment. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'>We also use the “white buckets” with gamma seal lids for large-sized (non type) specimens. I contacted O’Berk Kols containers and they got in touch with their suppliers. Unfortunately we are such small fish in the glass jar world that even if a large number of our museums got together and purchased, it still wouldn’t be worth them resurrecting the mold.
