Gives perfect results & resolution for fishes from 1cm to
approx. 30 cm (diagonal scan); if you want to use a desktop
machine you may run into troubles with larger specimens, because
the magnification is direct proportional to the angle of beam
spread and the distance of the object from the radiation source.
If the majority of scans is specimens < 30 cm and you only
occasionally need to scan larger fishes, the best option would be
to get into contact with veterinarians or hospitals which could do
these scans.<br>
