<p>Just FYI, at least as of now, there is no active effort to list
Greater Sage-grouse (you may as well use the correct common name,
since we ornithologists actually have official common names and we
capitalize). <br>

<p>This has been an enormous source of discussion, fairly civilized,
for many years. It resulted in this:

<p>The states did in fact fight the listing. That's what brought
about this agreement. <br>
</p>
<p>Anyone who thinks a listing now is even remotely possible isn't
paying much attention to current events.</p>
<p>Sorry to be negative but the bill was introduced by a Democrat,
has one co-sponsor, and was sent to five committees. Those are not
good odds.<br>
