FedEx has been attentive to the concerns raised about the fact that
shipments that require USFWS and/or Agriculture declarations are not
actually being declared as required. They have offered the following
suggestions, which are similar to those offered earlier this week by
the USFWS Law Enforcement staff.<br>

None of this is mandatory and it does add extra burden to your
workload but the clearances are obviously important, so I'm sharing
these suggestions with you.<br>

Send pre-arrival alerts to FedEx, USFWS, and AQI (if required), as
detailed below. Note that these instructions assume that the
shipment is being routed through Memphis. <br>

of shipments to museums and universities is far below the minimum
threshold for the FTN Customized Processing Accounts. I was told
that FTN handles clearance via the Express Clearance Operation
(ECO) for customers who don't have Customized Processing

recurring intercept for FTN.

ensuring clearance by all agency.</p>

Most wildlife shipments, if properly marked are routing through
Memphis but again - track the package and if it is not routing
