It is with great sadness that we write to inform you that Jean DeMouthe, Senior Collections Manager for Geology at the California Academy of Sciences, passed away last Friday after a long illness with cancer. She'll will be missed by her colleagues and friends

 at CAS and by her many friends in the museum community. As other information comes to light, we will be sure to pass it in.
