It continues the focus of the original June 2015 PEER complaint on how the USGS doesn't preserve and manage biological specimens collected by its scientists. The DOI Inspector General (IG) found in favor of the PEER complaint in August 2017 but the USGS dismissed
the IG's findings. This new complaint from PEER asks that USGS formally rescind its response to the IG, under the Data Quality Act, and compose a truthful reply.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
