<span style="color:#1F497D">“</span>CSBR Natural History Collections: Cataloging and Imaging the Yale Peabody Museum Invertebrate Zoology microscope slide collection<span style="color:#1F497D">”
</span>(Award #134911, Leo Buss PI, Eric Lazo-Wasem, Co-PIs). <span style="color:#1F497D">
It </span>comprises <span style="color:#1F497D">approximately</span> 4<span style="color:#1F497D">,</span>000 dynamic images created with a microscope based slide scanning system,
<span style="color:#1F497D">which are viewable</span> either as "pan and zoom" or variable focus "sliders<span style="color:#1F497D">.</span>"
<span style="color:#1F497D"> A </span>word cloud and thematic searches<span style="color:#1F497D"> are also available, and b</span>asic caption and image specific metadata are supplied, as well as
<span style="color:#1F497D">hyperlinks</span> <span style="color:#1F497D">from the images

Lawrence Gall. <span style="color:#1F497D">Museum Asssitant </span>Daniel Drew was responsible for databasing the slide collection and scanned most of the hi-resolution images. The website and content are managed by Eric Lazo-Wasem and Daniel Drew, Division
of Invertebrate Zoology.<span style="color:#1F497D"> </span>Slide images<span style="color:#1F497D">
</span>are still being made and will be continually added until the end of the grant period, 2018.<o:p></o:p></p>
