<p>The Admin's budget request has just been released. Sort of. They
haven't posted it on the website yet. <br>
</p>
<p>Aside from the fact that Congress is likely to ignore the
requests for draconian cuts to domestic spending (as they did last
year and as they signalled strongly with last week's enactment of
huge increases in the budget caps), it is unfortunately impossible
at this time to drill down into this budget to figure out how it
will impact ornithology/science. The proposal has very high-level
numbers.</p>
<p>As the agencies release their budget justification books (if they
release them), I will dig into them and try to find numbers that
matter.</p>
<p>For now, we have this for Interior:</p>
