<div dir="ltr">Hi Amos,<div><br></div><div>I'd recommend working with a dermestid colony if you can. </div><div><br></div><div>I tried soaking bird skeletons here in WY, and I lost bone structures as well. <p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">We are having problems with preparing skulls of small herps. They keep falling apart. We currently put them in water.</p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">Ideally we would like a method that would allow us to setup and then "forget" about it until we can process the skull. While we could monitor the preparations more frequently to catch them before they collapse it does
constrain our schedule.</p>
