 10-minute demo this week will be on <a href="https://biodiversity-specimen-data.github.io/specimen-data-use-case/use-case/download-media-from-specimens.html" target="_blank">downloading specimen images from iDigBio via the API</a>,
 and subsequent discussion will focus on how to use and share functional
 trait data (such as that which can be determined from specimen images) 
via data aggregators.<br></p><p>This
 is a <a href="https://www.idigbio.org/content/open-office-hours-hosted-api-user-group-r-based" target="_blank">twice monthly online drop-in session</a> where anyone is welcome to bring their 
questions or ideas about using tools such as the iDigBio API 
(Application Programming Interface) to work with biodiversity occurrence
 data in R. Community members of all backgrounds (collections staff, 
researchers, IT, etc.) and levels of programming experience (including R
 novice, or R non-existent) are encouraged to use these office hours as a time to discover
