<div dir="auto">Hey Ryan and All, <div><br></div><div>I sometimes, on very rare occasions (maybe once in 3 years) use a laptop while fresh specimen preparation. I would always recommend paper and pencil/pen, of archival quality / or at least waterproof.</div><div>What you could try is a Bluetooth projector, they also work with smartphones. <p>We are considering shifting some of our pencil and paper data collection while doing vertebrate specimen preparation to a digital format. We are anticipating having laptops available (the laptops would be out of the way of the specimen
preparation, so don’t necessarily need to be waterproof/washeable), but we are needing an external Bluetooth/wifi keyboard/mouse-trackpad that we can use to actually physically enter data. Of course, the data entry will be done while the specimen is being
prepared so we need something that is washable and waterproof and can generally stand up to all of the fluids and fur/feathers that get on gloves and the preparation area. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on brands or options for this (or what you’ve
tried and you recommend avoiding!).<u></u><u></u></p>
