<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">In order to pass on some light Christmas reading, I’d like to draw your attention to a few areas of our website that you might not have yet discovered.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">Firstly our
<b>Lost, Stolen and Strayed</b> area. This is a continution of our incredibly popular, and useful, Lost and Found pages which featured in the newsletter and journal for many years. It was, and is, a way of advertising for the whereabouts of missing specimens
or collections that might have been transferred across museums, or between curators or collectors over the years. Obviously these sorts of databases are only effective when they are known about and used, so we have populated our new ‘Lost, Stolen and Strayed’
page with all the previous entries from the last 48 years. Clicking on the links will take you into a pdf of the appropriate journal. I encourage all curators to have a look at the current list just in case something on there rings a bell, and also to create
entries of your own if you have appropriate lost or found material. All the instructions can be found here:

<p class="MsoNormal">Again this should be a very valuable resource when researching old collections, so do please have a look through it. We’ll really love it if you’d consider creating entries of your own when working through historical material. It would
be fantastic to be able to add more of the brief collectors’ biographies with samples of their handwriting and labels.<o:p></o:p></p>

and include access to all of our published journals as well as membership discounts for meetings.
