<p class="MsoNormal">I’m excited to share the advert for a new position at the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge, UK:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>We are inviting applications for the post of <b>Museum Assistant</b>, supporting two of the University Museum of Zoology's key functions: Assisting with the care of our collections, and ensuring our visitors gain the best possible experience of their visit
to the museum. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p>On Sundays you will be working with the Visitor Services and Operations Team, providing Front-of-House support and working with the Visitor Engagement Volunteers. For the rest of the time, you will be working as part of the Collections Team on a range of
collections care and management tasks. This will include assisting research visits and undertaking re-storage and documentation projects. You should have practical experience of collections management work and collection care, experience of supervising volunteers
and must be committed to providing excellent customer-service, with a proven ability to enthuse, motivate and inform people of all ages and backgrounds, including other staff, volunteers, visitors and external stakeholders.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>It is an exciting and varied opportunity offering a broad range of experience across a significant, award-winning natural history museum.<o:p></o:p></p>
