Dear Sound Studies Working Groupers,

Just a reminder that the SSWG will be meeting *TODAY*, March 7, at *5:30PM
in room B-04* of the Whitney Humanities Center. We'll be discussing Ben
Glaser's essay "Modernism’s Metronome: Meter and Twentieth-Century Poetics."

Professor Glaser has been generous enough to share this work in progress
and will be there to help guide discussion and present on "Historical
Scansion and the Archive." His essay -- which is not for general
circulation -- can be accessed on the SSWG classes*v2 site or through this
direct link
<https://classesv2.yale.edu/access/content/group/8c8dec44-d2cb-4437-a8a2-24f10abb14ff/Modernism%E2%80%99s%20Metronome-%20Meter%20and%20Twentieth-Century%20Poetics.pdf>
.

Please join us for discussion and light refreshments.

With all best,

J.D. Connor, Nicholas Forster, Mary Jones, Andrew Jones, Brian Kane
Co-Conveners, Yale SSWG
