Hm, what I might be able to implement reasonably 'easily' at this 
point is an option to maybe allow e.g. double-clicking on a tab to 
close the tab. (I mean, given the limited time available (i.e. for 
'free changes'), it's something I can likely do relatively 
'quickly', while e.g. a little 'x' or something, I know might be 
better, but would be a bit more timeconsuming ... just looking for 
possibly useful solutions that I can implement relatively quickly.)
