"Tending toward 50: A History of Chelsea Review, featuring
author portraits by Gerard Malanga"
Since its establishment in 1958 as Chelsea Review, the literary
journal has served as an important voice for original poetry, prose, and
works in translation. As the 50th anniversary of Chelsea
approaches, an exhibition will highlight the evolution of the
journal. Accompanying the archival items on display will be a group of
photographic portraits of Chelsea contributors by Gerard Malanga,
acclaimed poet and filmmaker.
