Winner of numerous writing awards and fellowships including the Melville
Cane Award and the National Poetry Series, Stephen Dobyns has published
11 books of poetry and 20 novels, as well as numerous essays and short
stories. His works, including <i>Common Carnage, Cemetery Nights,
</i>and, most recently, <i>The Porcupine Kisses</i>, have been translated
into more than ten languages. <br><br>
