Mistryel (Mar) Walker of Danbury is the featured reader at ALL's monthly
poetry series WORD OF MOUTH. This indecisive Connecticut native says
she like to tinker with differing forms of expression: poetry, music,
visual art and acting. She has been a participant in the Wed Night
Poetry Series open mic since 1994 and will be represented in its Depot
Anthology when it comes out later this year. Her poems have been
published in The Underwood Review, Poeticas, X-Magazine and The Natural
Networker. "Inverse Origami - the art of unfolding" is the
title of
her chapbook which she self-published in 1998. Some samples of her work

The sheepskin is a bachelor in humanities from Charter Oak State College.
She's also
collected some 34 odd graduate credits from Wesleyan and Western CT
temp worker, she is currently underemployed. Mar will read after an open
mic. Please join us...
