Book:</b></font> Palimpsest: Yale Literary & Arts Magazine
</i>is one of the first graduate literary and arts magazines in the
country.Palimpsest is published every spring by graduate and professional
students at Yale University, facilitated and funded by the McDougal
Center, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, with additional support
from the Graduate and Professional Student Senate. The magazine
aims to reinvent the form of the book as well as push the boundaries of
artistic experimentation. The new issue consists of a book with 128
pages of poetry, prose, nonfiction, and visual art; a music CD; a DVD
with six pieces of video art; and a color postcard--all contained between
letterpress covers and bound with a rubber band.Palimpsest as they launch
this year's edition.</h2><br>

</b></font>Joel Hanisek (Divinity School) will read his poem "Coming
Home." Lara Allen (School of Art) will sing and play guitar
for her song, "I'm Gonna Kill Myself." Adam Helms
(School of Art) will bring the original painting of an image that appears
in the magazine, "NFA Member." Ain Cocke (School of Art)
will bring the original painting of an image that appears in the
magazine, "Representation Painting #1." Rebecca Reider
(School of Forestry) will read her poem "Dressing Room."<br>
