Night:</b></font> On the last Thursday of each month The Yale
Bookstore hosts a Thursday Poetry Night.. One or more featured
poets will read from their work after which there will be an Open Mike
during which audience members may read original poetry or favorite poems
by others. Poetry Nights will start at 7:00 p.m. and close at 8:30
p.m. </h2><br><br>

</b></font>Dolores Hayden, Professor of Architecture and American Studies
at Yale University, writes about American landscapes and the politics of
design, is also a poet whose work has appeared in <i>The Yale Review,
Southwest Review, The Kenyon Review, Verse Daily, Witness, Slate,
</i>and<i> Michigan Quarterly Review. </i>She has won the Poetry
Society of America’s <i>The Writer </i>Magazine/Emily Dickinson
Award. Her collection, <i>American Yard</i>, was published in 2004.
<i> </i>Her books on history and architecture include <i>Building
Suburbia: Green Fields and Urban Growth, 1820-2000; A Field Guide to
Sprawl; The Power of Place: Urban Landscapes as Public Histor; The Grand
