African American poet and editor Allison Joseph is the author of five
collections of poetry, including <i>Worldly Pleasures</i>, <i>What Keeps
Us Here</i>, and <i>Soul Train</i>. She has received the John Zacharis
First Book Award, the Word Press Poetry Prize, and the Wallace W.
Winchell Prize. Joseph is the editor of <i>Crab Orchard Review</i>.<br>
