The guest speaker is critically acclaimed author<br>
J.D. McClatchy.<br>

Sandy JD McClatchy is a Connecticut resident, and has been a professor
at<br>
Yale University and editor of The Yale Review since 1991.<br>
He is the author of six books of Poetry, published two collections
of<br>
essays, edited numerous books and has written four Opera Libretto.<br>
His honors include the Witter Bynner Award for Poetry of the
American<br>
Academy of Arts and Letters, and fellowships from the Guggenheim
Foundation<br>
and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has served as Chancellor of
the<br>
Academy of American Poets from 1996 to 2003.<br><br>
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the
Marcus<br>
White Living Room, on the second floor of the Marcus White
Building.<br><br>
