Night:</b></font> On the last Thursday of each month The Yale
Bookstore hosts a Poetry Night.. One or more featured poets
read from their work after which there is an Open Mic during which
audience members may read original poetry or favorite poems by
others. Poetry Nights will start at 7:00 p.m. and close at 8:30
p.m. </h2><br><br>

</font><font face="Times New Roman, Times"><b>About The Poet:
</b></font>Catherine E. Hoyser is Associate Professor of English and
Coordinator of Women’s Studies at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford,
Connecticut. She teaches creative writing poetry and serves as
faculty advisor to the student literary and arts annual,
<i>Interpretations. </i>During her doctoral work at Indiana
University in Bloomington, she was managing editor and editorial
assistant for the academic journal <i>Victorian Studies. </i>Her
father’s death in 1998 freed her to begin writing poetry. Besides
her academic writing and publishing, Hoyser is a member of the Random
Meeting House Poets. She has been a featured reader at Klekolo
Coffee House, Buttonwood Tree, and the Kafé International in
Cheshire. She is currently assembling a chapbook, <i>As
Promised.<br>
