The Yale Bookstore closes its celebration of Poetry Month with readings
by contributors to the anthology Poetic Voices Without Borders,
edited by Robert L. Giron. This international anthology of
poetry offers a fresh twist to the poetic power of the printed
word. Nearly 150 poems from six continents deliver superb work,
from the sublime to the provocative, from the social to the political, in
a variety of styles and in English, French, and Spanish. Chosen
purely because they are willing to risk saying what must be saidand for
saying it wellthis extraordinarily inclusive literary grouping holds
something for every reader.

The poets in attendance will include Wendy Hilsen-Bernard, Jane
Schneeloch, Cathleen Calbert, Victoria Bosch Murray, and Mark Saba.
