WORD OF MOUTH at Arts + Literature Laboratory presents:<br>

Poets Alice-Anne Harwood, Elizabeth Clearly, Robin Sampson, Faith
Vicinanza, and Mar Walker's cumulative accomplishments include numerous
publication credits in literary journals, magazines, and newspapers
(articles, feature stories, and poetry), four books of poetry, one
creative writing workbook, performances as individual artists throughout
the U.S. and international locations for more than a decade, performances
as a collective throughout New England since forming Shijin in 2003,
facilitating workshops for all aspects of the writing life for all skill
levels, and creating opportunities for poets to hone their skills and to
find appreciative audiences.<br>

This reading of mostly new works is an opportunity to be with four
members of Shijin in a relaxed non-performance setting where the work
they do as a performance troupe and as individual artists will be part of
a dialogue about the current and future state of poetry in CT following a
reading of a few select poems from each of these accomplished
poets. An evening for poetry lovers as well as those who love to
engage in a healthy discourse about the nature of things.<br>
