Poet Sue Ellen Thompson will open The Second Thursday Poetry Series,
sponsored by the Guilford Poets Guild, on Thursday, April 12 at The Women
and Family Life Center, 96 Fair Street, Guilford, at 7:30 pm. For

Sue Ellen Thompson is the author of four books, most recently The Golden
Hour. She is the editor of The Autumn House Anthology of
Contemporary American Poetry. She has been a Visiting Writer at
Central Connecticut State University and at SUNY Binghamton. She has also
been poet-in-residence at The Frost Place in Franconia, NH and Robert
Frost Fellow at the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. <br>
