As a poet and actor, Mo Beasley has been featured on the stages of The
Kennedy Center and the Schomburg Center in New York. He has also
performed at various venues in New York and New Jersey. For the
2003 Fringe Festival in New York City, he was the co-creator and
performer in No Good Nigga Bluez, a spoken-word/theatre event More
recently he created the sensual and brutally honest "Spoken-word
Theater in Concert work LoveSites, a love story told through poetry,
music and dance. Beasley is the writer/director for the annual live
telecast of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Observance for New
York State's Governor's office. He is also the curator and producer
of UrbanErotika, a multi-ethnic/multi-media live cabaret celebrating Sex
and Spirit through spoken-word, music, film and dance. <br>
