WORD OF MOUTH, the monthly reading series at ARTS + LITERATURE LABORATORY
welcomes Allyson Wuerth & Mark Stricker Friday, January 18 at 7
p.m.<br><br>
Allyson Wuerth received her MFA in Poetry from the University of
Pittsburgh, following a residency at Bucknell University's Stadler
Semester for Younger Poets. She has published poems in journals
including Cimarron Review, 5 A.M., and Connecticut Review. In 2005, she
was named Poet of the Year by the New England Association of Teachers of
English.<br><br>
Mark Stricker is co-editor of the online journal nanomajority. His
poems have appeared in Sidereality, Muse Apprentice Guild, Tin Lustre
Mobile, Word/For Word, Fell Swoop, Royal Vagrant Review, and Perihelion.
He is the author of a chapbook titled Switches [Releases]. He lives
in Hamden, Connecticut. <br><br>
This event is FREE and open to the public. There will be an open-mic
session in addition to a featured reading by our visiting writers.<br>
