MOUTH READING SERIES FRIDAY, MARCH 21 AT 7:30; HOSTED BY LONG WHARF
THEATRE<br>
The former Arts and Literature Laboratory program, Word of Mouth, is
still going strong! This month’s reading will take place Friday, March 21
at Long Wharf Theatre. There will be an open mic, and the Connecticut-New
York area poetry performance troupe Shijin will feature. Since 2004, this
group of six women has performed across the region with shows and
readings that feature a 30-minute seamless presentation where one poem
tucks into the one that follows it – as if they were written as one. Join
us on Friday, 7:30 pm at Long Wharf Theatre to continue the tradition of
Word of Mouth.<br>
<b>Please note the change of venue. This event will not take place at the
Arts and Literature Laboratory. Long Wharf Theatre
(<a href="http://www.longwharf.org/">www.longwharf.org</a>) has
generously offered to host the series this month while we search for a
permanent home in New Haven. Please enter Long Wharf on the Stage II side
of the building.<br>
