<b>About the Book:</b> The fifth volume of the poetry anthology
<i>Caduceus</i>, edited by Tony Fusco, is published by Art Place, the
award-winning innovative program sponsored by the Yale Medical Group,
which uses art to enhance and elevate the medical environment for
patients, staff, and visitors to the Yale Physicians Building. Although
<i>Caduceus </i>is not entirely of or about the medical experience, but
rather about life and common humanity, there are in this collection poems
by physicians Laura Manuelidis, George R. Wettach, and Barry L. Zaret.
<font face="Times New Roman, Times">Contributors to this year's edition
who will be reading their poetry at The Yale Bookstore include: Merrill
Adams, Christine Beck, Shula Chernoff, Ginny Lowe Connor, Audrey A.
Fitting, Tony Fusco, Patti Fusco, Emi Gonzales, Doris Henderson, Laura
Mauuelidis, Pat Mottola, Pit Pinegar, Alexandrina Sergio, Vivian Shipley
, Peggy Sapphire, Sheila Murphy, Elaine Zimmerman, and Richard
Tietjen.<br>

<b>About The Editor: </b>Tony Fusco has had poems published in
<i>Connecticut Review, Red Rock Review, Folio, The South Carolina Review,
</i>and a number of other publications. He is the editor of <i>The
Connecticut River Review, </i>the journal of the Connecticut Poetry
Society. Fusco works for the Yale Medical Group and lives in West
Haven.<br>
