<b>Christine Beck</b> will receive a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 2013.
<i> </i>Her poem <i>Sometimes He Comes Home Bloody</i> won the Leo Connellan prize and was published in The Connecticut Review, 2011. Her chapbook of the same name is forthcoming from Pudding House Press. She is the programming director and President of the
Greater New Haven Chapter of the Connecticut Poetry Society and a former professor of legal studies at the University of Hartford.<a name="_GoBack"></a><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><b>Randall Horton</b> is the recipient of the Gwendolyn Brooks Poetry Award, the Bea Gonzalez Poetry Award and most recently a National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship in Literature.
Randall is a Cave Canem Fellow, a member of the Affrilachian Poets and a member of The Symphony: The House that Etheridge Built. Randall is Assistant Professor of English at the University of New Haven. An excerpt from his memoir titled
<i>Roxbury</i> is published by Kattywompus Press. Triquarterly/Northwestern University Press will publish his latest poetry collection

<b>Nan Meneely</b> migrated north to live what Baron Wormser calls "the poetry life", emceeing open mics, administering a delicious summer writing sleepaway camp for Frost Place expats, writing blurbs, helping to oversee the Guilford Poets Guild and doing
whatever else it takes not to have time to submit poetry to literary magazines.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">Open Mic participants are encouraged this month to read a favorite poem, rather one of their own. As usual, one poem per reader. Tell us why the poem is special to you. Four
