<span style="color:black">Award-winning poet and translator A.E. Stallings will talk about the historical and homoerotic verse of C. P. Cavafy, widely regarded as one of the greatest poets of the twentieth century. Stallings will explore the sound effects in
Cavafy’s Greek and ask how they are lost or found in English translation.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
