While I was practicing tonight, a few thoughts came to mind that I
wanted to share:

In addition to getting the notes, dynamics, and style down,
don't forget to figure out where to breathe, especially in long,
continuous sections like:

Children's March mm. 137-158, 237-252, 283-295, 298-310

Roman Carnival 11th bar of rehearsal 7 to rehearsal 8, 15
before rehearsal 11 to rehearsal 11, 2nd bar of rehearsal 16
to rehearsal 17

In all songs, there are some spots that may have rests to
breath, but you might want to mark in breath marks in these
spots to remind you to take a big breath if you won't have a
chance to breathe until much later

In addition to finding/breaking in a good reed for the
concert, make sure you've swabbed out your clarinet and that all
the screws are screwed in and the pads are all closing. If your
clarinet does have some problems, let me know and I can take a
look.

Finally, invite your friends and family to the concert or to stream
it online! The stream will be available at http://music.yale.edu/media/
on Friday.

Cheers,
Anthony
