<div dir="ltr">Hey YCB Clarinets!<div><br></div><div>I'm Albert Jiao, and I'm the concertmaster this year for YCB (I think I've met all of you but eh). I'm really excited about this year, and you guys have sounded awesome so far in rehearsal. One of the things that I think would be great for all of us this year is to really get to know each other outside of band, and so I'm trying to plan a few social events for all of us (these events will NOT be mandatory, and they're just for fun if you want to come!). If you have any suggestions, please feel free to tell me!</div>
<div><br></div><div>So the first YCB clarinet social event will be held this Friday: <span style="background-color:rgb(0,255,0)"><font size="4">let's go see the Yale Philharmonia this Friday at 8:00 in Woolsey</font></span>! They're an amazing grad school group that is on par with, if not better than, orchestras from schools like <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/06/AR2005110601012.html">Juilliard and Curtis</a>. It's their first concert this year, and they'll be playing <b style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">Wagner's Overture to the Flying Dutchman</b>, <b style="background-color:rgb(255,153,0)">Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5</b>, and<b style="background-color:rgb(255,0,0)"> Stravinsky's Rite of Spring</b>!</div>
<div><br></div><div>Again, you're not required to go or anything, but if you're not there, we'll miss you a lot :(. Let's plan on <b style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">going INTO Woolsey AT 7:45</b> at the latest to get good seats, so please be in Woolsey by 7:40ish (in other words if you're not there by 7:45 and you don't see us, look for us up on the first balcony!). RSVP's would be really nice if you know you are/aren't coming, but you can definitely just meet us there, and if you need to leave early, no problem!</div>
<div><br></div><div>See you all at rehearsal tomorrow!</div><div>Albert Jiao</div></div>
