This Friday in the YPNG seminar Yihong will talk about:

Title: Gaussian mixtures and denoised method of moments
Abstract: I will describe some recent results on the optimal parameter
estimation
for mixtures of k-Gaussians. The algorithm (and lower bound) relies the
theory of
moments, polynomial interpolation and majorization.
