I agree that it would be good if the guidelines explicitly mentioned
reporting duplicate NARS, etc. <br><br>
I think it might belong in the section on qualitative standards.
Something to the effect of "If the reviewee reports duplicate
authority records encountered in the LC/NAF, or other authority record
errors, the reviewer should interpret this as additional evidence that
the cataloger is developing the qualitative expertise needed to function
as an independent NACO contributor."<br><br>
If the error is something that the reviewee can fix (e.g. adding a date
to a 4xx to eliminate a conflict with a 1xx in another record), then the
record update would be eligible towards the quantitative count.<br><br>
