<p class="MsoNormal">As stated on March 1<sup>st</sup>, there continues to be a disruption in the flow of name authority records from the Library of Congress, which began on Feb. 17<sup>th</sup>. LC continues to work on this problem as a high priority, and
communication with the NACO nodes occurs daily. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">All NACO records are available in the master file, which means that the current records are all viewable at authorities.loc.gov. Please use this as your first resource in searching</span>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">NOTE that the subject authority records have also not been loaded properly, due to a related problem, which means that the most recent subject authority records will not show up in authorities.loc.gov. Classification Web is, as always,
the authoritative source for whether or not a subject heading is authorized for use.<o:p></o:p></p>
